For years Baseball has been part of Panama’s and Azuero’s Culture

The  XLIII version youth baseball tournament has begun. The event was held at Rico Cedeño Stadium in Chitre City, on January 5. The protocol events started at 6 pm and the opening game began at 7:30 pm. In the opening match Herrera defeated Chiriquí 5-4, in a thrilling game.

With baseball being Panamanians’ favorite sport, the date marks the beginning of a season that will culminate with the completion of the Mayor Baseball Panamanian league.
